clay houses (orange)

Hello! I made two more clay houses in orange shades. Actually they are a gift for a special friend and tomorrow they are going to travel far away...:)
I really enjoy making all these clay cuties, I just can't have enough!

bubbles

 Hello!
Today I have to show a layout that I made and inspired by two mood boards, yes two!!!

Scrap Around The World : mood board by Helen Tilbury

The aim was to combine both challenges as the mood boards' color palettes are similar, something that gives me inspiration for creating with happy feelings. In addition to this, I really liked both board themes and I visualized them as supplement to each other, like for example when we can or should celebrate the simplicity of things in life.
So, I took the opportunity to use my acrylic colors after a long time and I finally came up with one of my most colorful works so far. The main layout concept is bubbles: everyone likes them, children and grown ups! Don't you? Except the two bubble clouds, the white tag and the two buttons, everything else is handmade from plain paper cut with scissors (e.g. the big hearts) or punches.

clay houses (pink)

Everyone who knows me well, knows that I looooove houses: little ones, big ones, wooden, clay, paper, fabric, felted...

So, a few days ago, I made these cuties with ear-dry clay, shaped them with hands (no tools at all) and let them dry. I painted them with white acrylic paint and then randomly inked the edges with black ink and stamped with a Prima floral corner stamp. Then I got some thin (for jewelry) wire and wrapped it around the houses (also I made some spirals using a toothpick) to secure the flowers and metal elements and also to make the spiral 'chimneys'.

I love how they turned out and I've already found for them a place on my fireplace :)

His and Hers cards...

Hello everyone!
Today I have two cards to share, which I made for Scrap Africa' s card challenge, starting today.

This is actually my first time making a card, as I have NEVER made one before!
I wanted to keep it simple and also make them similar, because it's a pair of cards and they have to look alike each other...  I used only few materials: craft paper, some inks (black, blue and red), two stickers and of course my new stencil with these cute glasses...

Well, I'm not sure if I'm going to make any more cards in the future, but I really enjoyed making them this time... :)

'Piano love' for Scrap Africa

Hello!
This is my first post as a Design Team Member for 'Scrap Africa'. I'm very happy to be a part of this fabulous team and so excited that I will work with such talented ladies!

I created this page for May's challenge: I think that this is a quite beautiful and interesting sketch to work with. All these circles makes it a real challenge for me, as I usually don't work with circles.

To begin with, I didn't actually do any circles (I tried some at the beginning, but I found the result unsatisfactory). Instead, I have placed two flowers as their shape can be seen as a reference to the circle shape if you take a general look, don't you think?
I also put some gesso to create a  fade effect around the composition, again instead of the big circle.

I hope you liked my take on the sketch and you got some inspiration.
