Brave the storm

 Hello!
Today I'm sharing a canvas I created with the June 2015 Limited Edition Spray Set for Lindy's Stamp Gang.

To create this mixed media background first I made a collage with papers, next I applied some light paste with a stencil and then I glued everything down. After that, I used the sprays with a paint brush and spread the colors here and there... I also used the sprays to paint the flowers.

I altered the chipboard pieces with the Shabby Turbine Teal spray and the Obviously Black and Midnight Bronze embossing powders and some bronze mica flakes.

I also used the embossing powders on the background with a stamp to create more texture and give more interest. I really love the result.

One more thing I did with the embossing powders was to create this beautiful butterfly. I stamped twice the butterfly on rice paper, spread the embossing powder and heat it. Then I cut it around with a scissors and painted it with the Shabby Turbine Teal spray.

***all chipboard pieces are from 2 Crafty Chipboard!
