Missing you - Spring tag

Happy April everyone!

A new challenge starts today at Scraps N Pieces.

This is my creation, a Spring tag.

Our challenge:

Be romantic

Get inspired by this photo and create anything you like 

as long as your project is in romantic style.

This isn't really my regular style, so I tried to do my best.

I used some lace at the top and the bottom of the tag, flowers, birds singing and a small nest I created with craft grass, where I placed my message 'Missing You'.

Altered Snowman *with video

Hello dear friends! Today I’m sharing a Christmas project for ColourArte. An altered small vase which turned out into a snowman. I made a video with all the process, I hope you will enjoy it.

First let’s see what ColourArte products I used for this project:

• Primary Elements: Oyster, Iridescent Blue Pearl, Cool Water
• Twinkling H2Os: Spiced Pumpkin, Apple Blossom

Other products:

• small IKEA vase
• handmade felt hat
• Finnabair Black Jesso
• Finnabair Soft Matte Gel
• Finnabair Snowflake Paste
• Finnabair Art Ingredients (White Art Sugar, Pearl Glass Glitter)
• Black permanent pen
• Christmas decorations (bell, sparkle grass, snowflake sticker, 7Gypsies brad and candycane sticker)
• Red ribbon
• twine
• Finnabair Mechanicals – label

I made custom waterproof paints with Soft Matte Gel and Primary Elements and painted the vase and the hat. I also used the H2Os to color the snowman’s nose and cheeks.

Κολιέ - Necklace

 Αυτό το κολιέ το έφτιαξα για να το συνδιάσω με ένα στράπλες μπλουζάκι στα ίδια χρώματα. Οι χάντρες είναι από πηλό cernit (τις έπλασα και τις έψησα στον φούρνο μου), το λουλούδι είναι τσόχινο, ενώ το αυτοκινητάκι είναι κουδουνάκι!!!
 I made this necklace to combine it with a strapless shirt in the same colors. The beads are made ​​of clay cernit (molded and baked in my oven), the flower is felt and the tiny car is actually a bell!!! Love it!

Καμβάς μικτής τεχνικής - Mixed Media Canvas

Σήμερα τελείωσα τον πρώτο μου καμβά με τεχνική "mixed media". Είχα δει από καιρό τις δημιουργίες της Julie Nutting και της Christy Tomlinson  και ήθελα να κάνω κάτι που να συνδυάζει και τα δύο στυλ. Μου πήρε πολλές ώρες να τον φτιάξω, αλλά ήταν πολύ διασκεδαστικό, καθώς η περισσότερη δουλειά ήταν να σταμπώνω, να κολλάω και να μουτζουρώνω!
Today I finished my first mixed media canvas inspired by Julie Nutting and Christy Tomlinson and their technics. It took me several hours of work, but I really enjoyed stamping and doodling!

Σήμερα έκανα το εξώφυλλο του βιβλίου-ημερολογίου μου, αφού πρώτα "ξήλωσα" το προηγούμενο, το οποίο τελικά αποφάσισα ότι δεν μου αρέσει. Και επειδή έβαλα τα υποφαινόμενα δερμάτινα λουράκια στο πλάι, άλλαξα και την βιβλιοδεσία.... ουφ! Πολύ δουλειά! Μου πήρε περίπου 4 ώρες να τα κάνω όλα αυτά, αλλά νομίζω ότι άξιζε τον κόπο. Το αποτέλεσμα μου αρέσει πολύ!

Today I made the cover of my book, after I destroyed the precedent that I decided that I did not like. And because I  put the leather strap to the side, I changed the binding .... Whew! A lot of work! It took me about 4 hours to do all that, but I think it was worth it. Love the result, it is so vintage!

 Αυτό είναι το πίσω μέρος. Νομίζω ότι η ετικέτα έπρεπε να είναι λίγο πιο χαμηλά, αλλά δυστηχώς τώρα δεν μπορώ να την μετακινήσω. Την κόλλησα πριν βάλω τα δερμάτινα λουράκια (τα οποία έφτιαξα μόνη μου με κομμάτια δέρμα που αγόρασα) και μετά διαπίστωσα ότι θα ήταν πιο συμμετρικό το αποτέλεσμα αν ήταν κεντραρισμένη στα λουράκια. Δεν πειράζει, το βιβλίο μου εξακολουθεί να μου αρέσει πολύ!

This is the back side of the book. I think the label should be a bit low, but unfortunately now I can not change that. I glued it before placing the leather straps (which I made myself with pieces of leather that I bought from a local store) and then I realized it would be more symmetrical if it was centered to the straps. Never mind, my book is still lovely! 

Υφασμάτινα κοσμήματα - Fabric Jewelry

Σήμερα επιστρέφω με ένα ακόμα υφασμάτινο δαχτυλίδι και δύο ασορτί βραχιολάκια. Τα έφτιαξα από ένα παλιό πουκάμισο μιας φίλης μου, που δεν την ήθελε πια...

Hello! Today I'm back with one more fabric ring and two matching bracelets, all made by a friend's old shirt...

  

Αυτό είναι το χέρι της φίλης μου :)  Νομίζω της πηγαίνουν πολύ!

Τhis is my friend's hand. I think the shirt looks so much better with the ​​new look :)

Δαχτυλίδια από ύφασμα - Fabric rings!

Σήμερα έφτιαξα αυτά τα δαχτυλίδια για μια φίλη μου. Νομίζω ότι θα φτιάξω μερικά ακόμα και για μένα σε διάφορα χρώματα, για να ταιριάζουν με όλα τα ρούχα μου!

I made these fabric rings for a friend. I think I'm going to  make some for me, too! Aren't they cute?

Είναι πολύ εύκολο να τα φτιάξεις. Το μόνο που χρειάζεσαι είναι ύφασμα, βάσεις για δαχτυλίδια, βελόνα και κλωστή και κόλλα.

It is so easy to make one like these: all you need is fabric, ring base, needle and thread and glue...

Τσόχινες δημιουργίες - Felted creations

Η τσόχα είναι ένα από τα αγαπημένα μου υλικά! Όλα αυτά τα έφτιαξα για το δωμάτιο της κόρης μου :)

I love felting! I created these colorful cuties for my daughter's bedroom :)

Για το μανιτάρι ακολούθησα αυτό το πατρόν  που βρήκα στο διαδίκτυο.

For this mushroom I used this pattern I found searching the web.

 

Ένα αερόστατο που κρέμεται από το κουρτινόξυλο...

An balloon hanging from the curtain...

                 
Και μια κορνίζα που αγόρασα από το IKEA. Μέσα έχω βάλει μικρά τσόχινα αρκουδάκια που έφτιαξα με την τεχνική της βελόνας.
 And an IKEA frame filled with tiny felted teddy bears :)
