With the holiday season lurking just around the corner, we decided to give our members some ideas for fabulous handmade items that can be gifted this year!
I decided to decorate a paper bag in order to use it as a gift bag. I used a huge tag as a base to add my layers and glued some twine at the back, so as to place it to the bag. It also helps to close the bag. Here is the tag...
As you can see I used the big star with the word 'Awesome' from the
Heidi Swapp watercolor tag set. This star is made of watercolor cardstock and has a perfect surface to work with many different media on it. I wanted to keep it simple this time and put away my mixed media stuff, but if you want to see what else you can do with it with mixed media techniques you can see
this post.
