reading an incredible story

Hello dear friends!
It is already 15 of September and we have a brand new challenge for you at Scrap Africa:

You can interpret the photo or the vintage theme in any way you like and as always you can create any sort of project you want! Here is my page:

It is about reading books, something I really love and enjoy doing since I was a little girl... every night in bed before I go to sleep, while relaxing at noon, on the beach in summertime...

In order to give a vintage look to my page, I used a yellowed page from an old book. I torn it into pieces which I placed under the photo. I also cut a few butterflies with a paper punch and glued them on the composition. Of course I did a lot of stamping and masking as always, you know me, and some doodling with my black pen.

 >>>
For my layout I also used the inspiration photo by 13arts - I love this wreath with the butterflies! The challenge requires two different 13arts mediums, I used gesso and gel medium.

>>>

Well, that's all, I hope you have an awesome crafty day!
